Drumming Energy Sessions

Similar to the way that a labyrinth can create an experience by walking it, the sound of drumming can be the vehicle used to facilitate an experience of energy.   In this session, drumming will be used to open the door to relaxation, joy, peace and beauty.  A traditional drum used in journeying* will be played while participants relax and receive energy.  What energy comes through will depend on the participants.  One participant had the experience of connecting with the heartbeat of a fox that had recently taken up residency on her land.  Another participant felt the absence of anxiety and the relief associated with being free from worry in her body, mind and emotions.   Nothing beyond simply tuning in to the sound and allowing relaxation is required.  The sound of drumming opens the door however the beauty of crystals and sacred stones  will also be there to support the experience.  Each session will also allow for silence so that each participant can sink in deeper to their own heart and listen.  These sessions can be performed in a group or individually.  Time is allotted at the beginning and end of each session to share if anyone would like to.

*Journeying is an ancient practice that cuts across multiple cultures such as Native American and Celtic traditions. By tuning in to the sound of the drum beat, it allows a person to access their own consciousness more deeply (similar to how yoga postures do) and have an experience of the soul.
